Kevin Watson Construction Ltd submitted a planning application (Z/2007/2984/F) in December 2007 proposing to develop a five storey residential building on the site (0.21ha.) of the former Curzon cinema (demolished 2003). The application was approved in January 2009. Construction commenced early 2007 and was completed by late 2008.
A news report in November 2008 reported that the developer had sold 14 of the 61 apartments. Clanmil Housing Association acquired 42 apartments during late 2009. The apartments were handed over to Clanmil in January 2010 and officially opened by the Minister for Social Development on 1st July 2010. Clanmil acquired the remaining 19 apartments during autumn 2012.
The ground floor commercial units are occupied by Bank of Ireland, Abbey Insurance and The Granary coffee shop.
