The Loft Lines is a proposed mixed-tenure residential development comprising 778no. apartments with accompanying commercial and community space and public and private public realm. The development is being delivered by Lacuna Developments and Watkin Jones Group in partnership with Titanic Quarter Ltd and Belfast Harbour on 3.8 acres of former shipyard land adjacent to and south east of the River Lagan.

Pirrie Belfast Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2021/2280/F) in September 2021 proposing a mixed use, mixed tenure residential-led development of 778 apartments in three buildings with internal and external amenity space; flexible commercial/ community floorspace; public realm including public square and waterfront promenade; cycle and car parking and associated landscaping and access roads. The application was recommended approval in April 2022.

The Loft Lines comprises 627no. Build to Rent apartments (255no. in Block 11, 372no. in Block 11a) and 151no. units in Block 9 to be delivered by a Housing Association. The three Blocks range in height from 11 storeys (Block 9), 16 storeys (Block 11) and 17 storeys (Block 11a). All three Blocks comprise external podium courtyards and Block 11 and 11a comprise external roof terraces. A new public space known as South Yard Square is also proposed alongside a new riverside promenade; extending the existing Maritime Mile.
