A six storey 60,000ft2 office building designed by Halliday Ramsay for Inislyn Offices Ltd. Farrans construction commenced construction in March 2003 and completed the building in May 2004.
The Department for Social Development relocated to the building in June 2004 from Churchill House, Victoria Square (demolished November 2004).
The Department for Communities (previously Department for Social Development) relocated from the Lighthouse Building to Nine Lanyon Place in 2019.
CBRE placed the office building on the market in September 2020, alongside the adjacent Radisson Blu hotel building. The guide price for the office building and adjacent hotel building is £16m.
