Girdwood Community Hub

Girdwood Community Hub is a two storey building located within the 14 acre Girdwood Park site. The building comprises a multi-use hall, dance studio, gym, cafe, office and meeting spaces and five classrooms for Belfast Metropolitan College.

The building was designed by Michael Whitley Architects and built by O’Hare & McGovern between April 2014 – December 2015. The Hub was officially opened on 15 January 2016 by Mervyn Storey MLA and Cllr Arder Carson.

The building cost £11.7m, funded by the EU’s PEACE III Programme.
