Planning for the building was permitted under Z/2002/2417/O (submitted Oct 2002 / approved June 2005) and Z/2005/1720/RM (submitted Aug 2005 / approved April 2006).
The building was placed on the market in January 2016 with a guide price of £29m but later withdrawn.
CBRE placed the building on the market again in November 2018 with offers invited in excess of £34m.
Citigroup acquired the building in April 2019.
