The site is currently occupied by two storey buildings built 1952 – 1953.

Glendarragh Properties and McCann Moore Architects submitted a planning application (Z/2009/1422/F) in October 2009 proposing to develop 21no. apartments, 4no. ground floor retail units and 1no. own door office unit. The application was approved in May 2010.

Glendarragh Properties and McCann Moore Architects submitted a revised planning application (Z/2013/0296/F) in March 2013 proposing to develop a three storey residential building comprising 25no. apartments over 2no. ground floor retail units. The application was approved in February 2014.

Development did not commence and the site was placed on the market by Lambert Smith Hampton in 2015 with a guide price of £450,000.

Henderson Group Property Ltd and Whittaker + Watt Architects submitted a planning application (LA04/2016/2543/F) in November 2016 proposing to develop a two storey building comprising two ground floor retail units and 6no. 2 bed apartments above. The application was approved in March 2018.

Construction commenced in August 2018 and a Spar convenience store opened in June 2019.
