A three-storey brick and stone building built 1992 – 1993 by Bannons Ltd as a furniture showroom with offices above. Bannons had previously operated from 177 Donegall Street between c1950 – c1960, from 143 North Street between c1960 – c1990 (1976 photograph), and then from 71 – 75 North Street until present day.

Bannons Ltd submitted a planning application (Z/1987/2181) in November 1987 proposing to refurbish 71 – 73 North Street for retail and office use including a new front facade. The application was approved in January 1988.

Bannons Ltd submitted a planning application (Z/1991/2117) in February 1991 proposing to develop a new retail and office building at 71 – 75 North Street. The application was approved in July 1991.

Bannons Ltd submitted a planning application (Z/1992/2516) in June 1992 proposing to reconstruct a section of their building at 75 North Street to the rear at William Street. The application was approved in September 1992.

Bannons continued to operate from 71 – 75 North Street until ceasing to trade in December 2015.

Oasis Retail Services Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2018/0098/F) in December 2017 proposing to change the use of the vacant ground floor unit at 73-75 North Street to facilitate relocation from existing premises at 19 North Street.
