The Square is a proposed six storey building comprising c.22,000ft2 of office accommodation over a ground floor retail unit.

6-10 Chichester Street is currently occupied by a four-storey building built c.1830 and 12-14 Chichester Street comprises a four-storey building built c.1890.

A planning application (Z/2003/0917/F) submitted in April 2003 by S.S. Moore proposed the redevelopment of nos. 6 – 14 Chichester Street to comprise a six storey office building with ground and first floor retail space. The application was approved in October 2005.

In March 2022 sports shop SS Moore announced plans to relocate from the building after 75 years. In the same month joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton and McKibbins placed the site on the market with offers invited in the region of £4m.
