R & K Matthews and Architectural Design Partnership submitted a planning application in 2008 proposing to develop a four storey building comprising two ground floor retail units and 9no. apartments above. The application was approved in May 2009 although no development took place and the permission expired in May 2014.

R & K Matthews and Architectural Design Partnership submitted a further planning application (LA04/2016/0874/F) in April 2016 proposing a similar scheme comprising two ground floor retail units and 9no. apartments above. The application was approved in June 2017.
