A proposed seven storey office building at the corner of Linenhall Street and Clarence Street.

The site is currently part-occupied by a terrace of three and four storey buildings reportedly built c.1865.

The 0.2 acre site was placed on the market in 2017 by joint agents Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills seeking offers in excess of £2m. A sale was agreed in 2018.

Domus UK Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2019/2348/F) in September 2019 proposing to demolish 27-37 Linenhall Street and 8-10 Clarence Street and develop a seven storey office building. The application was withdrawn in January 2020.

Domus UK Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2020/0164/F) in January 2020 proposing to demolish 27-37 Linenhall Street and 8-10 Clarence Street and develop an eight storey office building. The application was withdrawn in June 2020.

Domus UK Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2020/2200/F) in October 2020 proposing to demolish nos. 27-37 Linenhall Street and nos. 8-10 Clarence Street and develop a seven storey office building. The application was refused in June 2021.

The applicant has submitted an appeal to the Planning Appeals Commission.
