Allen McCallister Developments Ltd acquired nos.28-40 in August 2006 and nos.24-26 in April 2007.

A planning application (Z/2007/1521/F) submitted in June 2007 by Allen McCallister Developments Ltd and CMG Planning proposed to demolish nos.24-40 and develop a three storey building comprising 8no. apartments over 3no. ground floor retail units. The application was approved in April 2008 however no development took place and Allen McCallister Developments Ltd was placed into receivership in October 2014.

The terrace was included within LSH’s November 2014 property auction as two lots. Nos.24-26 sold for £60,500 and nos.28-40 sold for £88,000.

Hatching Homes Ltd and Premier Building Design Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2015/0233/F) in April 2015 proposing to refurbish the existing terraced properties at 24-40 Upper Newtownards Road for use as 9no. apartments (4no. 1 bed and 5no. 2 bed). The application was approved in June 2016.
