A planning application submitted in April 2008 by DDW Properties and McVeigh Brown Partnership proposed demolition of the existing building and replacement with a new five-storey building with ground floor retail and offices on the upper floors. The application was approved in February 2009.
In October 2013 the existing building was placed on the market by Northern Property seeking offers around £109,950. The building sold in 2015 for an undisclosed sum.
An outline planning application (LA04/2015/0225/O) submitted in 2015 proposed demolition of the existing building and development of a residential building with a ground floor retail unit.
A planning application (LA04/2016/1763/F) submitted in August 2016 by Mr A. Flynn and ERES Ltd proposed to demolish the existing building and develop a 7-storey office building with ground floor retail unit. The application was amended and approved in June 2017.
CPS Property placed the building on the market in May 2018 with a sale price of £250,000 advertised.
