Kane Developments and Todd Architects submitted a planning application (Z/2007/2179/F) in 2007 proposing to develop a four storey building comprising 1no.retail unit and 30no. car parking at ground floor, 63no. apartments at upper floors (46no. 1 bed and 17no. 2 bed) and a first floor landscaped garden. The application was approved in November 2009. No development followed and the permission expired in November 2014.

Kane Developments was placed into administration in 2011. The site was placed on the market by Lisney in November 2013 with offers invited in the region of £750,000.

The site was placed on the market by Colliers during early 2019 with offers invited in the region of £595,000. The site sold in February 2022.
