A two storey commercial building built 1983 – 1984 and currently divided into four retail units.

Previously a two-storey building designed c1905 by Percy Jury for Normans Ltd clothing store. Following the bombing of the Ulster Arcade (28 Donegall Place) which housed Brand’s Ltd clothing store, the two firms merged at Castle Lane to become Brands & Normans Ltd. The store traded at Castle Lane until closing in 1983 and in the same year the building was demolished.

18 – 24 Castle Lane, 28 – 34 Donegall Place and 1 – 7 Callender Street were sold to Merset Properties Ltd for £35.35m in December 2003. Merset Properties Ltd is jointly owned company by William Ewart Properties Ltd and Donegall Place Investments Ltd.

Tiger, a Danish design retailer, opened a 3,000ft2 store at no.22 Castle Lane in November 2015.

No.18 Castle Lane was sub-divided during early 2016 and in May 2016 Joseph Rea jewellers relocated to no.18a.

Moss Bros. opened at no.24 Castle Lane in July 2016.

Work commenced inside no.18b, the remaining vacant unit at the corner with Callender Street, in January 2017. Discount retailer The Works is due to open within the unit during late May 2017.
