ECIT building houses The Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT) and The Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT).

Queens University Belfast and AECOM submitted a planning application (LA04/2018/1892/F) in July 2018 proposing a four storey extension to the front of existing ECIT building.
