City Quays 2 is a 9-storey office building with ground floor coffee shop currently under construction. The building forms part of Belfast Harbour’s 10 hectare City Quays master plan (Z/2010/1006/O).
Lagan Construction commenced works onsite in November 2015 and the project is due for completion during summer 2017.
UTV confirmed that they will lease the top floor for new HD studios, edit suites, corporate offices and work space for news, administration, finance and sales staff. The proposed on-air date for studios to go live at City Quays 2 is June 2018. McLaughlin & Harvey have been appointed to carry out the 16-week fit-out project from end of August 2017.
Osborne King’s website now lists the ground floor commercial unit as ‘Agreed’. The 3,000ft2 ground floor unit is located on the east side of the building overlooking the river.
