After purchasing the Dutch barge in June 2006 the Lagan Boat Company quickly installed it at Lanyon Quay in October 2006. M. V. Confiance is to house a café and maritime history museum as well as theatre and gallery space for arts and cultural performances or small conferences. The project is estimated to be fully implemented by June 2008.
