The proposed development at 28 - 30 Great Patrick Street off Dunbar Link was approved in April 2010. The £18m development designed by Gregory Architects will provide 161 apartments, 12 offices and 2 retail units with car parking to service the mixed use scheme.
No construction work has commenced however a report in June 2009 claimed that deposits had been placed on 35 of the apartments. The initial application for the development in December 2006 was for 180 apartments, 2 retail units and parking however this was withdrawn and the current approved application was submitted in November 2008. The number of apartments was reduced from 180 to 159 and the number of retail units was increased from two to three, whilst 12 offices were added to the scheme. |
