St George’s Gate, designed by HKR Architects, who also designed the Aurora on Great Victoria Street, will be a development of three buildings. Located on the car park used for BT’s Telephone House the scheme will involve the construction of a 25 storey tower with a mixed uses to include apartments, offices and a hotel. Fronting onto Cromac Square the development as of July 2009 had not yet been put forward for planning approval therefore a timescale is not yet known for construction. However meetings have taken place between the Planning Service and the developer.
