The proposed 3-star, 155 bedroom South Yard Hotel is a six storey building situated between Titanic Belfast and the River Lagan. The hotel is proposed within one of two ‘paired’ buildings (southern building) with a colonnaded front facade. The building facade is designed with white pre-cast concrete panels, floor to ceiling glazing at ground and first floor and zinc to the upper-most floor. The proposed hotel building includes a bar / lounge at ground floor, a first floor restaurant over-looking Titanic Plaza and underground car parking.
The proposal forms part of the overall Plot 12 development proposal that includes 152 apartments, 2 hotels, 1846 sq m of business (Class B1), retail (Class A1), 2164 sq m of restaruants, bars and cafes (sui generis), 332 sq m of health spa (sui generis), 196 sq m of financial, professional and other services (Class A2) and basement car parking.
