A proposed social / affordable housing development comprising 46no. dwellings on a 1.4ha. site at Hopewell Crescent in the lower Shankill.
Radius Housing Association submitted a planning application (LA04/2019/2306/F) in September 2019 proposing to develop a of 46no. social and affordable dwellings comprising 38no. houses and 8no. apartments. The application was approved in March 2020.
The land will be transferred from the NI Housing Executive to Radius Housing to be developed in two phases. The first phase comprises 18no. dwellings to the south of the site and the second phase comprises 26no. dwellings and open space to the north of the site.
The first phase of 18no. homes is an investment of c.£3m (50% funded by DfC and 50% funded by private finance raised by Radius).
