A planning application (LA04/2016/2018/F) submitted by Silver City Ltd in September 2016 proposed to develop a seven storey residential building comprising 46no. apartments with basement car-parking (25no. spaces) and alterations to the junction of Hamill Street and College Square North.
OKT placed the site on the market in November 2016 with offers invited in the region of £1.25m.
The planning application (LA04/2016/2018/F) was refused permission in February 2018.
A new planning application (LA04/2018/1719/F) submitted in June 2018 proposes a seven storey residential development comprising 49no. social housing units in a mix of one and two beds.
