Ducales Trading No.4 Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2019/0265/F) in February 2019 proposing to extend and convert the building for hotel use. The proposal comprises a ground floor bar / restaurant and 17no. bedrooms above. The application was approved in January 2020.

Ducales Trading No.4 Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2020/0563/F) in February 2020 proposing amendments to the existing permission, “to include change of use from commercial unit to hotel and associated facilities including ground floor extension, internal and external alterations, and the provision of 3no. additional bedrooms“.
