Odyssey Quays
The Odyssey Quays development is a mixed use project located on a six hectare site between the Odyssey Complex and the M3 Lagan Bridge. An outline planning application (Z/2009/1309/O) was submitted in September 2009 by the Odyssey Trust. The project is designed by HJ Lyons Architects. Currently the site is a surface level car park for the Odyssey Complex and a separate waterfront overflow car park, although the plans will, according to the Odyssey Trust, aim to better integrate the area with the rest of the city centre and improve the gateway to the Titanic Quarter through the Odyssey site. Speaking at the launch of the project in October 2009 Robert Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive of the Odyssey Trust, said that plans were being prepared for two years in advance of the application being submitted.
