Lyndon Court |
|
The current Lyndon Court building, previously known as the Audio Times Building, was designed by Todd Architects and completed in 1986.
There is currently planning permissions in place to demolish and replace Lyndon Court with a four storey replacement building with ground floor retail units and offices on the upper floors. The application, submitted in February 2008, was granted in May 2009 [Z/2008/0559/F & Z/2008/0566/DC]. The developer behind the redevelopment is AD Enterprises and the architect is Gregory Architects. In March 2010 the AD Enterprises and Gregory Architects submitted another application to redevelop the site with a nine storey office building and ground floor retail units. The proposal is currently being considered by the Planning Service and Belfast Civic Trust have filed a letter of objection with the Planning Service on the grounds that the design is inappropriate for a Conservation Area. |
