The 0.24 acre site is located off Great Victoria Street [Land bounded by Hope Street, 7-13 Lincoln Park & 1-17 St Andrews Square East] and is currently used as a car park (Dec 2010). The site already has piling installed for a 6 storey building and planning permission for a 5 storey 80 bedroom hotel (ref: Z/96/2051). In March 2007 the site was sold at auction for £7,300,000 and in November 2007 a new planning application for the site was submitted, seeking approval for 130 apartments, multi storey parking and 145msq of ground floor retail units (ref: Z/2007/2812/F). In June 2009 this application was amended and subsequently approved in January 2010.
