Phase three of the Bedford Square scheme proposes to restore and extend the listed Ewarts Warehouse building. The refurbishment will provide a 70 bedroom 'boutique' hotel and complete the mixed use redevelopment around the new civic square. Planning permission was granted in August 2008 for phase three however economic conditions have resulted in the development being placed on hold.
