74 - 76 Dublin Road |
|
Located on the corner of Dublin Road and Pakenham Street the development was initially delayed for many years due to a controversial decision to demolish two Victorian houses situated on the site. Planning permission was granted in 2004 however due to opposition to the decision which would result in the demolition of two remaining Victorian buildings on this part of the Dublin Road, construction did not get underway until 2008. The houses were eventually demolished to make way for the scheme at the end of 2007 and construction began in 2008 lasting around one year.
In November 2008 an application (Z/2008/2273/F) was submitted and approved in June 2009 to change the ground and first floors from retail use to office use. |
