7 - 11 Castle Lane was developed by Deramore Property Group to provide two retail units on a busy city centre pedestrianised shopping street. The 11,500sq ft glass fronted building was designed by Milligan Reside & Larkin Architects. Gilbert Ash constructed the building between August 2007 and June 2008 following which the project lay unlet for a period of time.

In 2010 Deramore announced the letting of 7 Castle Lane to Cotswold. The first of two tenants for the development acquired approximately 8,500 sq ft of retail space. In November 2010 the remaining unit at 9 Castle Lane was let to the Liverpool FC Official Store.
