A planning application was submitted in October 2008 to replace the existing two storey building with a 13 storey office building with ground floor retail units and associated roadworks. 


Belfast Civic Trust have lodged an objection letter to the proposed development due to the proposal being "out of
scale to the surrounding buildings and [bearing] no relationship to the red brick ware house buildings adjacent."
