The development of this six storey building involved the demolition of Cawood House, which was an existing precast concrete building located on the site. The existing pile foundations were retained from Cawood House to be used for the new building. This reduced costs and allowed Patton Construction to complete the building in 14 months. The new building is steel framed unlike its concrete predecessor and is clad in aluminium and glass curtain walling.
