22 - 24 Berry Street is located between CastleCourt Shopping Centre and Queens House. It is a dead end street due to the CastleCourt Service yard and is currently has no active ground floor uses. Plans submitted in April 2008 and approved in February 2009 will see the demolition of the existing derelict three storey building and replacement with a new 5 storey building with ground floor retail and offices on the upper floors. The architect for the scheme by DDW Properties is the McVeigh Brown Partnership.
